The trouble with talking

I embarked on this adventure of making videos but I have a problem. I hate my voice. I feel so nervous for no reason when talking that I end up sounding like a monotone dullard. I think part of the problem is I talk mostly to Americans. Americans sound so cool. That’s the trouble with being brought up on a diet of stateside TV & Film. Its just so much more exotic and interesting. I think thats why we always want to shag foreign people. Its all new and adventurous.

I only hope to the people watching that possibly I sound exotic and interesting and that maybe they want to shag me. Doubt it though.

We are not closing comments

Big laughs at the lab today when the latest blog posting makes clear that they’re sick of listening to people misuse the only place they have to air complaints about the sub-standard service they are recieving. Shut up, shut him up, say 2L. New communications and liason type Katt categoricaly stated “we are not shutting down comments guys” so the post saying why they didnt want us talking had comments off. The post previous were people asked a reasonable question about a bug in our favour (mega prims) was closed off from comment at 47 rather than the normal 150.

Communication is a two way street, no?

Not ever, I have written blogs before they were mostly great. So I decided to start writing about the world I see through my digital eyes. Mostly I read the blog found here http://blog.secondlife.com it’s very funny. It’s great when you see people write about how they were being sarcastic. Sarcasm is an art you can’t simply wank out some drivel and then say “if you were halfway inteligent you would know it was sarcasm”. See and now i’ve started writing about sarcasm. I know I am, sarcastic that is. But it’s like nails down a blackboard hearing someone try to be sarcastic they just end up sounding like total dicks. That’s only my opinion so probably correct.

So, I live in the second life world which is a 3D online world imagined by its residents but owned and frequently mis managed by a company called Linden Research or commonly known as linden labs. There are hoops of copyright and trademark one must jump through but hopefully this paragraph has has explained that any reference i give in this blog from now on to second life, sl etc is shorthand for all of the gubbins that go with recognising their copyrights and trademarks etc etc etc etc bolocks.

I think I’ll stop there for now before I enter a full on bitch-fest about the twats I encounter and the twats that are supposed to be offering a service.
